Secret Redo on my Daughter's Room

I wrote this post last summer, but, at the time, couldn't decide whether or not to post it.  I just found it, and thought you might enjoy a peak into my life as a mom.  

This is what my daughter's room looked like for a brief moment in time.  This summer she was gone for 4 weeks to various camps and mission trips.  After she left for her first trip,  I came up to her room to put some clean clothes away, only to find that her room had been ransacked.

I have one of my favorite bloggers on the back porch today, Kristin of My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia is such a sweetie.  I love her gorgeous California home. She's a devoted mom too. Her son, Grayson, just went through a health scare and Kristin stayed by his side through the whole ordeal. I'm so happy he is healthy again.

Why did you start a blog?

What started as a little blog over three years ago to document our home improvement projects has become my passion. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined I would gain a readership, be given some pretty incredible opportunities and make some really awesome friends, a true blessing! Words can’t quite describe how thankful Ray and I are.

The opportunities that have come to my little corner of the world wide web have been amazing. I was so excited when HOUZZ.COM contacted me recently to ask if I would be interested in being a regular contributor.
