My Top 15 French Bargain Buys

Recently I talked about how to add some Frenchy goodness to your home, click here to see the post.  The last tip was to buy at least one piece of French furniture to add to the room.  I know that many are on a budget and readers tell me they don't have access to second-hand sources of French furniture.

Okay, okay, I hear you. So here are some new pieces of French furniture I found that anyone can order from the internet. I really, really like these. Each item is less than $500, and 5 are less than $100. This is NOT a sponsored post, just a resource post.

Here they are in no particular order

2. French key square ottoman at Overstock for $129.99

3. Set of Provence Antiqued French side chairs at Overstock.com for $428.99.

4. Arles Antique Oak Chair at Overstock.com for $360.99

5. Set of Ella side chairs at World Market for $359.98

6. Emerson Shelf at World Market for $399.99

7. Greyson Console table at World Market for $179.99

8. Vintage Charm wooden stool at Target for $49.99

9. Metal round table from Target for $49.99

10. Hall table at Target for $99.99  (I would paint this white or gray.)

11. Decorative accent table at Target for $59.99 (Ditto on this one too.)

12.Emily side table from Home Decorators Collection for $84.99

13. Marie arm chair at Home Decorators Collection for $389.00

14. French Linen Ottoman at Overstock for $279.00

15. Ava Demilune Table from Overstock for $88

Bonus!!  Ektorp Sofa at Ikea for $399.99  This is only the best sofa for the money. (Not French, but I wanted to give you a little extra bonus today.  I included it because it's a great deal and will work well with French decor.)

Was this helpful for you?  Let me know if you want more resource posts, because there are a lot more items that I would love to share with you.  You know I love searching for a French bargain.

All great Anita! Funny you mentioned the couch, we are actually looking at buying it but not in White. They have a beige linen looking one that we are considering.

Excellent research and resources, Anita. I'm not looking to add any furniture because we have no more room, but I am going to look at the little side table from Target. One can usually find a spot for a small side table. ;-)
Thanks! ~ Sarah

Quel bon marche!
Great idea. Another thought, only because it's something you already do - how to turn a basic item into something with French flavor!

Funny. I've never shopped at Overstock. That Ektorp sofa is on my list though (has been for awhile). I'm getting one for my family room hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks for the tips!

I think that research posts are a great idea and I really enjoyed seeing the itmes showcased in this one. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this! I add a French touch to my home by sitting my husband in it - he's French LOL! Actually, I try to find little pieces that have French flair in wording or design. I also like very old items with chippy paint and gilded details. Hugs, Leena

My favorite is the Ramsey bench. You included a nice range of products. I've been tweaking things around my house and have added a few french touches, well you might want to call it more shabby chic. I never know what to call my decorating style but I've changes things quite a bit. Thanks for sharing the shopping links.
