This chair will go at the foot of our bed in the new house. There isn't room for it at the foot of the bed in this house.
That's why this chair is currently sitting in the dining room. Yes it's a little crammed in here, with the Restoration Hardware piece, and dining table that will go in the new dining room,
the armoire that is going in the breakfast room,
two of these needlepoint chairs that will go in my new bedroom (Oops, did I forget to mention there are two of these chairs?)
and the vanity that I have yet to paint, which will go in my new bedroom right under a big window. Here's a photo of the vanity at the thrift store.
(I'm painting the vanity and bench, then I'll recover the bench seat.) Guess what? This thrift store is just a few miles from my new house! Actually there are three, count 'em, 3 thrift stores within a mile or two of my new house, along with lots of antique stores and restaurants. It's going to be a whole new adventure.
I'm planning to leave these chairs the way they are.
On another note, I just wanted you to know how much I laugh and smile reading your comments. Ya'll totally crack me up. It really makes my day when you leave a comment, especially a funny one. In the last post, here, I said that Mr. CH had a tear in his eye thinking about all of the food I was going to cook with my new (expensive) range. Carol suggested that maybe the tear had to do with wondering how he was going to pay for it. Oh my... good times. This is one of the many reasons why I love ya'll so much. *smile*
