Come a little closer and I'll let you in on another secret. Shhhh, it's a drop cloth, or did you already guess?
You can easily find one big enough for this project for less than $20. I like to use the ones at Lowes, since some found at other stores are very gray.
Basically I folded the tablecloth at the edges, and tucked the excess fabric under the table. That was it. My friend Kathleen says that I make things sound so easy. There's a reason for that. It IS easy. If you like difficult projects, this one isn't for you.
I didn't even iron the folded edges, although I would recommend that.
Remember the table I showed you in What the Table Knew? This is the same table. It's inherited, and I wasn't crazy about keeping it.
Now that it's covered up, I'm happy and Mr. CH is happy (that it didn't get tossed or painted). Another piece of furniture is saved. *sigh* I love a happy ending, don't you?
